Gen Con 2012 Post Show Wrap-up

By Mike Rosenberg

The best four days in gaming has come and gone, any many of us are just starting to settle back in to life after Gen Con.

The convention was a blast. There was a lot of positive reception about the games we had available for demo. It was also the first time that people could purchase Hot Rod Creeps and 3012, two of the latest games from Cryptozoic. We also had the DC Comics Deck-Building Game available for fans to try out. It was great to hear the positive feedback from everyone who played these upcoming games! It lets us know that we're making games the fans are enjoying.

Did you miss any of our coverage? We highlighted some of the things people wanted to say, along with Sunday's Annihilageddon, where the best Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards: Duel at Mt. Skullzfyre players of the weekend battled it out for the title of "Annihilagator"! Photos of the event can be found in Gen Con Day 4's Facebook photo coverage, and a report on the event can be found here.

Our coverage reporter Mike Sacco was on the show floor on Saturday talking to players to get their thoughts on our latest games. You can find this article here.

In addition, we release three videos on our Youtube page covering all sorts of things from Gen Con.

Our first video is a general overview of Gen Con.

The second video shows off some of the excellent cosplays that we saw at the event.

The final video shows off some of our games in action.

To close out, and because a picture can say a lot, here are a few of our favorite shots from the weekend. To everyone who stopped by our booth at Gen Con, thanks for coming by. We loved being able to meet so many of our fans throughout the weekend. You guys make all of this possible! See you in 2013!

Brand Ambassador Christina Sims (AKA Vanessa VanCleef) wants ALL the games.

Ask Abe what he's got in his hand. It's not like Honest Abe can lie to you.

Ben Brode and co. approach the Flaming Ring of Fire in their Hot Rod Creeps race.

Our hard-working staff from the exhibit hall during Gen Con. Thanks again for all of their work this weekend!
