Gen Con Approaches!

By Mike Rosenberg

August is here, and Gen Con is just around the corner!

From August 16-19, games galore will invade the Indianapolis convention center for what is known as "the best four days in gaming". You can find the Cryptozoic booth in the exhibit hall at Booth 931. A map of the exhibit hall can be found here (accompanied by a photo of brand ambassador Christina Sims in her Alexstrasza costume from last year!).

At our booth, you'll be able to purchase our latest products and try out our upcoming games. Get a demo of Hot Rod Creeps, the DC Comics Deck-Building Game, and the 3012 Deck-Building Game before they are released!

Gen Con attendees will also find a coupon from Cryptozoic Entertainment in their bag when they pick up their badge. Bring that coupon to Booth 931 and redeem it to get one of our World of Warcraft Trading Card Game Fall 2011 Class Starters for only $5!

However, if you'd like to show others your gamer skills, head on over to Hall F. The World of Warcraft TCG's Darkmoon Faire will take place in the big room on Saturday, alongside with an assortment of other tournaments and events to satisfy your gaming needs. Events will run for all four days, with offerings for both the new player and the seasoned gamer.

World of Warcraft TCG action aside, players can also come and play in one of our many board game tournaments. The highlight board game event of the weekend, however, is the Annihilageddon.

What is an Annihilageddon, you ask? It is a showdown between the best Epic Battle Wizards of the weekend, as they battle to see which wizard comes out on top. This invitation-only event is only open to those who win one of the Epic Spell Wars tournaments that are taking place throughout the weekend. The best Epic Battle Wizards of Gen Con will duke it out in the Annihilageddon on Sunday for a chance to win a coupon for two games from the Cryptozoic e-Store!

Gen Con truly is the best four days of gaming, and we cannot wait to go. We hope to see you there!
