Series 1 of DC Comics Mighty Meeples consists of 30 different classic heroes and villains reimagined as collectible 1” wooden board game figures. Unless you are getting the Mighty Meeples: DC Comics Hall of Justice Collection or the Mighty Meeples: DC Comics Batman Rogues Gallery Collection next year, you will find these figures in three-pack foil bags.
If you take a look at the back of one of these bags, you’ll find an image of each figure in the set. But how likely are you to get the ones you really want? To help answer that question, in each bag we’ve included the below checklist card that specifies how common certain figures are and allows you to keep track of your progress as you try to collect them all.
We figured (get it?) that people might get a bit upset if they couldn't collect their favorites easily. That’s why you’ll notice that Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are all fairly common, making them very easy to collect. If you were to open all 36 packs in a box of Mighty Meeples: DC Comics Series 1 figures, you would find at least three of each of the “Common” figures. “Uncommon” figures such as Lex Luthor and Mr. Freeze would have about two figures each in that same box.
If you have to make sure you collect all the figures, getting a whole box is a good way to go, since you’re guaranteed to find at least one copy of each figure (including all five marked as “Rare”). If you take a look again at the checklist card, there are two figures that are each marked with a “???”. Who do you think they could be?
