By Mike Rosenberg

Tokens or cardboard tubes? Green or red? Touchweiners or don't Touchweiners? These are the questions that can pop into your head when playing a round of Penny Arcadeā„¢ the Game: Gamers vs. Evil, the deck-building game that combines classic deck-building elements with the hilarious world of Penny Arcade.

And soon, you'll be able to experience the joy of Touchweiners and unleashing Pax Pox on your friends while on the go, thanks to Cryptozoic and Playdek Games. Penny Arcade the Game: Gamers vs. Evil iOS is coming soon, and you'll be able to take Gabe, Tycho, and their friends and enemies with you on the go!

Penny Arcade...on the go!

The Gamers vs. Evil app takes all of the elements from the regular game and makes it digital. Shuffling your deck every other turn and randomizing the boss piles is a thing of the past when you're playing the iOS. Games are quick, easy to play, and a great hand-held offering of what you can expect from the physical game!

You can have multiple games running at the same time, and you have six slots to play with in offline mode.

Gamers vs. Evil on the iOS supports offline play against the computer, and you can set its difficulty to whichever mode you feel you're ready for. Offline play also lets you game with players face-to-face. Just pass the iOS device around as each player's turn comes up.

But the real magic of the hand-held version of the game is its online play, which lets you play against friends or Penny Arcade fans around the world!

All of the classic Penny Arcade deck-building action, in the palm of your hand!

Challenge your friends in online mode to games. Go head-to-head against a pal, or make it a four player game, and see how differently things play out when more people are included.

Would anyone like to Touchwieners?

The Gamers vs. Evil iOS app is still in its beta-testing stages, but we'll have more details on its release when it's available. Stay tuned!
