Pop Art Con - Sketch Card Portfolio Reviews!

By Mike Rosenberg

Hello all,

With Pop Art Con right around the corner, things are heating up.

If you have not heard about PAC, let me fill you in. It's a new show taking place in Philadelphia on June 10, 2012 featuring about 20 of the best sketch card artists in the business. There will also be card dealers and manufacturers and, of course, Cryptozoic Entertainment!

I will be there holding portfolio reviews and giving you information on how you can submit your work and land sketch card work with us on our ever-expanding trading card sets.

There are multiple ways you can show your portfolio to me at the show.

  • Bring a binder with card sleeves of your art at sketch card size.
  • Bring a traditional portfolio with any size artwork that you care to show, but remember, I am looking for sketch cards artists!
  • Have your art on your iPad or another tablet. Cryptozoic Entertainment fully embraces the future and I am more than willing to look at your art on a tablet. Just make sure that all the art is in one area and we do not have to search for it.

All this typing has made me hungry! Which reminds me: I want to take you out to dinner! Saturday night before the show, Cryptozoic Entertainment is taking all the artists attending the show to dinner, and we would love for you to join us. The dinner is free-of-charge and the only way to join us is to buy your admission ticket to PAC ahead of time.

I hope you can join me as we see (or buy) some really great art from a plethora of talented sketch card artists.

See you there!
